This policy explains how deposits, payments, cancellations, and refunds work for flooring projects booked with Exolutis Flooring (“Exolutis,” “we,” “us”). It applies to projects reserved online and to work quoted and scheduled after an in-home estimate.
In-home measured estimates are free and carry no obligation. When you reserve a bookable package or tile project online, your payment card is authorized at checkout for the deposit amount shown; it is captured only once we have measured your project, confirmed the scope and final price with you, and scheduled the work. If we cannot service your project, the authorization is released and you are not charged.
Where a payment plan is selected, the deposit is captured when your project is scheduled and the remaining balance is divided into equal weekly card-on-file charges, beginning approximately seven days after booking, using the authorization you provide at checkout. Apple Pay and bank (ACH) payments are pay-in-full. If a scheduled installment fails, we retry after a few days and contact you by email; unresolved balances may pause work until the account is current.
Natural stone, custom-bound rugs, cut-to-size and special-order products are ordered specifically for your project and are non-refundable once ordered. This is separate from labor and is itemized on your estimate so you know before you commit.
If our installation workmanship is defective, we will correct it as described in our Terms of Service at no charge to you. This workmanship remedy is separate from, and does not entitle you to, a refund of the completed work. Manufacturer defects in the flooring material itself are handled under the applicable manufacturer warranty, which we will help you pursue.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor, Square. Please allow 5–10 business days for the funds to appear, depending on your bank. We refund only amounts actually captured; released card authorizations are not “refunds” and simply expire.
Email info@exolutis.com or call (720) 261-2880 with your name and project details. Cancellation takes effect when we receive your written or verbal notice; we recommend email so there is a dated record.
